THE 2027 ILTS INTERNATIONAL CONSENSUS CONFERENCE
We are pleased to invite you to support the 2027 ILTS International Consensus Conference on Contemporary DCD Liver Transplantation, taking place in Rome, Italy, on January 15–16, 2027.
This focused two-day international meeting will bring together leading experts and professionals in liver transplantation, including transplant surgeons, hepatologists, anesthesiologists, intensivists, organ perfusion specialists, radiologists, scientists, and allied health professionals. We anticipate approximately 300 participants from around the world.
Building on the landmark 2020 ILTS DCD Consensus Conference, the meeting will focus on the major advances that have transformed DCD liver transplantation over the past several years. Particular emphasis will be placed on modern in situ and ex situ preservation strategies, including NRP, HOPE/D-HOPE and NMP, as well as viability assessment, donor and recipient selection, organ recovery, perioperative management, and clinical implementation.
Through a structured, multidisciplinary consensus process, the Conference will develop updated recommendations to guide clinical practice, research priorities, and implementation of new technologies in contemporary DCD liver transplantation.
On behalf of the 2027 ILTS International Consensus Conference Organizing Committee, we hope we can count on your participation as we collaborate together to shape the future of DCD liver transplantation.
Sincerely,

Wojciech Polak, MD, PhD
