Eduardo Schiffer completed his medical studies in 1990. He then undertook postgraduate training in anesthesiology. His early research focused on hemodynamic changes in septic shock using experimental models. He subsequently pursued six years of clinical training in internal medicine and returned to anesthesiology and intensive care in 1995. Following a period at Paris Descartes University (University of Human and Health Sciences), he continued his research on pulmonary diseases associated with end-stage liver failure. His clinical activity focuses on major abdominal surgery, particularly liver and kidney transplantation. Since 2014, he has been responsible for the Clinical Skills Teaching Program for both Bachelor’s and Master’s curricula. His current research activity continues to focus on liver transplantation, mechanical ventilation, and digital documentation related to undergraduate medical education.
