Opening Ceremony


Join us as we officially open the congress with an inspiring ceremony bringing together leaders from the international transplant and healthcare community.

The evening will begin with welcome remarks from Dr. Wojciech Polak, ILTS President Elect and Prof. Christian Toso, Local Chair of the Scientific Committee followed by Prof. Valeria Mas, ILTS President, Dr. Robert Mardini, Director of Geneva University Hospitals, and Mr. Pierre Maudet, State Councillor in charge of the Department of Health and Mobility (DSM), reflecting the collaboration between the global scientific community and local institutional and governmental leadership.

The ceremony will conclude with a keynote address by Dr. Bertrand Piccard, Swiss Explorer and Psychiatrist whose perspective on innovation and human exploration will set an inspiring tone for the days ahead.
