Marion Delphin completed her PhD studies under the direction of Dr. Julie Lucifora, in the HepVir team of Dr. David Durantel (CIRI, Lyon - France). Her work participated in unravelling the specific mechanisms of action of the Hepatitis B and D Viruses on hepatic macrophages. She is now undertaking a postdoctoral training fellow position with Prof. Philippa Matthews. She is investigating how the immune system is modulated by specific sequences/strains of the Hepatitis B Virus, towards finding more relevant and reliable biomarkers for patient handling and\or treatment responsiveness.
