Boatemaa Ntiri-Reid is Senior Director, Syndemic Approaches at NASTAD. In this role, she manages a portfolio of funding opportunities and cooperative agreements across HIV, hepatitis, and drug user health at NASTAD. She also leads strategic planning and implementation of initiatives to integrate the organization’s HIV prevention, hepatitis, and drug user health portfolios into syndemic approaches and to facilitate replication of those approaches externally at health departments and other critical public health settings. She has twenty years of experience designing, implementing, and administering infectious disease programs and services at local and state health departments, US Department of Health and Human Services, community-based programs, community clinics, and as a public health lawyer. Boatemaa received her B.A. from the University of Michigan-Ann Arbor, M.P.H. from Columbia University, and J.D. from the University of Maryland School of Law.
