Dr. Sarah J. Robbins, MD, MSc, FRCPC is a gastroenterologist and physician nutrition specialist. She currently practices at South Health Campus in Calgary and is a Clinical Faculty member at the University of Calgary.

Dr. Robbins’ clinical and academic interests focus on the role of nutrition, lifestyle, and mind–body interventions in gastrointestinal disease, including irritable bowel syndrome, inflammatory bowel disease, intestinal failure, and chronic digestive disorders. Her work emphasizes evidence-based strategies to improve patient outcomes and support self-managed care.

She is the founder of Sarah Robbins MD, an educational platform providing evidence-based programs and resources in digestive health, and HoloFlora Health, a precision nutrition platform centered on gut microbiome testing and modulation.

Dr. Robbins completed her BSc (Hons) in Biological Sciences and MSc in Nutrition and Metabolism at the University of Alberta, followed by her MD, Internal Medicine, and Gastroenterology training at the University of Calgary. She also completed a fellowship in Nutrition and Bariatric Medicine at the University of Alberta.

She is a past President of the Canadian Nutrition Society and currently serves on the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada Gastroenterology Examination Committee.
