Dr. Simone Kortbeek is a Pediatric Gastroenterologist and Hepatologist practicing at the Alberta Children’s Hospital, University of Calgary. She returned to Calgary after completing a fellowship in pediatric hepatology and liver transplantation at the Hospital for Sick Children in Toronto. In addition to her clinical role, she has a research interest in patient-reported outcomes and health-related quality of life for children with chronic liver disease and for those who have undergone liver transplantation.
