Dr. Tandon is a clinician scientist and gastroenterologist in inflammatory bowel diseases at the University Health Network, University of Toronto. He completed his residency in Internal Medicine at the University of Ottawa and Gastroenterology training at the University of Toronto. He further pursued a clinical and research fellowship in Advanced Inflammatory Bowel Diseases at the Mount Sinai Hospital in Toronto, Ontario, while completing a PhD in clinical epidemiology at the Institute of Health Policy, Management, and Evaluation (IHPME), University of Toronto. Dr. Tandon’s clinical expertise includes care for those living with complex IBD. His areas of research interest include the development of large clinical registries for routine research and use of existing registries to answer health-services questions within IBD.
