Professor Tomlinson is the inaugural Raymond Chang Chair in Nutritional Medical Education at the Joannah & Brian Lawson Centre for Child Nutrition. He is leading the expansion of nutrition medical education innovations offered by the Lawson Centre and supervises five distinguished fellows.

Dr. Tomlinson is an associate professor of paediatrics and nutritional sciences, and a neonatologist at The Hospital for Sick Children. He studies the growth and nutrition of pre-term and critically ill infants, with a focus on medical management of surgical patients within the neonatal intensive care unit.
