Dr. Morinville obtained her Medical Degree at McGill University in 1999, followed by a residency in General Pediatrics at the Montreal Children’s Hospital (MCH). Her subspecialty training in pediatric gastroenterology was undertaken at the MCH, followed by additional fellowship training in Pancreatology at the University of Pittsburgh. She returned to the MCH in 2006 as full-time faculty and is currently a Professor of Pediatrics within the Division of Pediatric Gastroenterology and Nutrition at the MCH, McGill University.

Dr. Morinville currently chairs the Clinical Competence Committee of the pediatric gastroenterology training program at McGill University; she is the Canadian Councilor on the NASPGHAN (North American Society for Pediatric Gastroenterology, Hepatology, and Nutrition) executive council, and has been an Associate Editor for the Journal of Pediatric Gastroenterology and Nutrition- Reports (JPGN-REP) (2020-2026). Between 2011 and 2016, Dr. Morinville participated in the Canadian Gastroenterology Association (CAG)’s GRIT (GI Residents in Training) Course Organizing Committee, including serving as Co-Chair and subsequently Chair Organizer in 2013-2014. She became a Fellow of NASPGHAN in 2021 and a CAG Fellow in 2022.

Dr. Morinville’s research and clinical interests include children with pancreatic diseases such as exocrine insufficiency and pancreatitis (INSPPIRE international consortium member). She participates in multidisciplinary clinics for children with cystic fibrosis, GI-ORL reflux, complex dysphagia, and participates in the MCH “triple scope” aerodigestive team.
