Virginia Guisandes Bueno is a second-year medical student at the Schulich School of Medicine, where she is actively involved in research surrounding Inflammatory Bowel Disease and the use of Clinical Pharmacogenetics. As a medical student she is a CFMS member on the Committee for Health Policy and VP of the National Association of Latin Medical Students (CALMS). She earned her bachelor’s degree in Biochemistry of Infection and Immunity from Western University.
