Nicol Flores is a fourth-year PhD student in Immunology and Virology at the CRCHUM/University of Montreal, working in the laboratory of Dr. Naglaa Shoukry. Her research focuses on CD8 T cell responses during hepatitis C virus (HCV) reinfection, investigating immune mechanisms that influence viral clearance and persistence. Using transcriptional profiling, multiparameter flow cytometry, and longitudinal cohort analysis, she aims to identify correlates of protective immunity that could inform HCV vaccine development.
