Dr. Tianyan Chen is an associate professor of medicine at McGill University. She earned her medical degree at McGill University, where she completed her post-graduate training in Internal Medicine and Gastroenterology. She joined MUHC in 2017 after pursuing a fellowship in Transplant Hepatology at University of California, San Francisco. Her clinical and research focus are in transplant medicine. She is the medical director of the liver transplant program at MUHC. She currently serves as a medical advisor for the liver transplant program at INESSS and at Quebec Transplant. She is a member of area of focused competence committee in Solid Organ Transplantation at Royal College.
