Dr. Berger is a gastroenterologist practicing in Dartmouth, NS. He received his MD from Dalhousie University and completed residency in Internal Medicine and Gastroenterology at Dalhousie University. He then completed a fellowship in endoscopic ultrasound (EUS) at the Montreal General Hospital. He practices general gastroenterology in addition to EUS and endoscopic management of dysplastic Barrett’s esophagus.
Dr. Berger sits on the Canadian Association of Gastroenterology (CAG) Education Committee and is the former chair of the Canadian GI Residents In-training Program (GRIT). He is also actively involved in teaching of endoscopy and is a certified faculty for the CAG Skills Enhancement in Endoscopy (SEE) program. Dr. Berger has a clinical interest in endoscopic ultrasound, quality in colonoscopy and endoscopic management of dysplastic Barrett’s esophagus.
