Description

This hands-on workshop offers a comprehensive, skills-focused exploration of modern endoscopic practice, guiding participants through core diagnostic and therapeutic competencies across multiple domains. Sessions on polypectomy and hemostasis provide structured reviews of classification systems, lesion assessment, case preparation, and tool selection, emphasizing safe, effective technique, complication avoidance, and evidence-based management of complex scenarios such as GI bleeding and challenging polyps. Complementing these practical modules, the SEE Station highlights the importance of conscious competence, standardized lesion recognition, and deliberate procedural planning in achieving high-quality endoscopic outcomes. Finally, the Video Capsule Endoscopy session, strengthens participants’ diagnostic acumen in small bowel evaluation, including landmark identification, application of the Lewis score for Crohn’s disease, and recognition of common VCE findings. Together, these integrated sessions provide a robust, practice-enhancing program designed to elevate both foundational skills and advanced endoscopic judgment.
