Cuan Harrington is a Senior Clinical Fellow in HPB, Multi-organ Retrieval & Liver Transplantation at the Royal Free Hospital, London. His clinical practice focuses on leading multi-visceral organ procurement (DBD/DCD), machine perfusion technologies (HOPE/NMP), recipient surgery and hepato-pancreatobiliary resections.

He holds an MD and a PhD in Surgical Education from the Royal College of Surgeons in Ireland, as well as an MSc in Trauma from Queen Mary’s University, London. He completed his Higher Surgical Training (CCT) in HPB in London and previously served as Chief Registrar at the Royal London Hospital. His research interests include complex hepatobiliary oncology, ex-vivo machine perfusion for marginal graft assessment, and surgical education.
