Prof Gabriel Oniscu is the Chair of Transplantation Surgery and Head of Transplantation Surgery Division at the Karolinska Institutet in Stockholm. He is also the Director of the Department of Transplantation at the Karolinska University Hospital. Gabriel has made a significant contribution to the development of Normothermic Regional Perfusion and has a particular interest in organ reconditioning strategies. He currently leads the Karolinska Organ Perfusion and Translational Research Centre, a clinical and research facility in transplantation and regenerative medicine.
