Dr. Arianna Trizzino is a transplant surgeon working as a consultant in the Division of Hepatic Surgery and Liver Transplantation at New Santa Chiara Hospital in Pisa, Italy. She completed her residency in General Surgery at the University of Milan, where she gained extensive experience in hepatopancreatobiliary surgery as well as liver, kidney, pancreas, and lung transplantation. She is currently actively involved in both clinical practice and research in liver transplantation, with a particular focus on organ preservation strategies in donation after circulatory death and the use of extended criteria donors.
