Iulia Minciuna is a hepatologist and clinical researcher with expertise in portal hypertension, liver vascular diseases, and liver transplantation. She trained in gastroenterology and hepatology at the Regional Institute of Gastroenterology and Hepatology “O. Fodor” in Cluj-Napoca and completed her PhD at the “Iuliu Hațieganu” University of Medicine and Pharmacy in 2025, focusing on vascular mechanisms and portal hypertension in chronic liver disease and transplantation. She has undertaken international clinical fellowships at Inselspital in Bern and Erasmus MC Rotterdam and research fellowships at Hospital Clínic Barcelona (IDIBAPS) and Erasmus MC Rotterdam, where she contributed to studies on hepatic hemodynamics and post-transplant vascular complications.
