Enrico Prosperi is a hepatobiliary and liver transplant surgeon at Sant'Orsola Hospital, University of Bologna, where he also completed his PhD in General Medical and Surgical Sciences. His doctoral research focused on intraoperative liver ultrasonography for surgical planning of hepatic resections.
After graduating in General Surgery he trained in hepatobiliary surgery and liver transplantation at King Faisal Specialty Hospital in Riyadh.
His clinical and research interests include transplant oncology and minimally invasive liver surgery. He serves as Lead of the Administration Committee of the International LDLT Registry, coordinating multicenter data collection and research across global transplant centers.
He has authored publications in peer-reviewed journals including Liver Transplantation American Journal of Transplantation, Transplantation and others.
