Kang He, MD, PhD, is Associate Professor in the Department of Liver Surgery, Renji Hospital, Shanghai Jiao Tong University School of Medicine, where he also serves as Deputy Director of the department. His clinical and academic work focuses on liver transplantation, living donor liver transplantation (both pediatric and adult), hepatobiliary surgery, and perioperative liver regeneration and repair. Dr. He has extensive experience in the management of complex liver diseases and transplant-related conditions, with particular interest in translational research bridging surgical innovation, regenerative medicine, and biomaterials for liver injury and postoperative recovery. He has authored and co-authored numerous peer-reviewed publications in the fields of liver surgery, transplantation, and regenerative therapy. Dr. He is actively involved in international academic collaboration and education in liver transplantation and has contributed to multiple national and international conferences as a speaker, moderator, and organizer.
