Chris Watson is the emeritus Professor of Transplantation at the University of Cambridge. He introduced NRP to the UK in 2010, and led the adoption of NMP from 2014. He has published widely on both NRP and NMP, and has a particular interest in the biochemistry of NMP. In addition to optimising the outcomes of DCD liver transplantation, his other interest relates to providing guidance on the risks of donor transmitted disease
