Linda Sher M.D. is Professor, Clinical Surgery at University of Southern California. She completed her transplant fellowship in 1988 at the University of Pittsburgh and has been working as a transplant surgeon, educator and researcher is Los Angeles for the past 38 years. She is the Director of the Transplant/HPB fellowship and the Vice Chair of Research in the Department of Surgery. Her lab is active in stem cell and xenograft research for the purpose of developing alternative therapies for the management of liver diseases.
