Dr. Cristiano Quintini is Chair of the Department of Surgery and Liver Transplantation at Policlinico di Milano and Professor of Surgery at the University of Milan. He has trained at University of Miami and Cleveland Clinic, where he held several Clinical Leadership Positions. His clinical focus is liver transplantation, HPB surgery and uterus transplantation. His research centers on liver hemodynamics, small-for-size syndrome, and machine preservation. Dr. Quintini has authored over 230 peer-reviewed publications, served as Associate Editor for Liver Transplantation, and has chaired the ASTS Scientific Committee, with a strong interest in surgical innovation and mentorship.
