Dr. Kenan Moral, MD is a hepatologist at the Department of Gastroenterology and Hepatology, Başkent University, Ankara, Türkiye. He completed his medical degree at Hacettepe University Faculty of Medicine, followed by residency training in Internal Medicine at Hacettepe University and fellowship training in Gastroenterology at Gazi University. His clinical and academic interests focus on, liver transplantation, autoimmune liver diseases, metabolic liver disease, and advanced diagnostic approaches in unexplained liver disease.
Dr. Moral has been actively involved in international academic collaborations and professional societies. He serves as a Trainee Member of the International Liver Transplantation Society (ILTS) Vanguard Committe. He has also represented young gastroenterologists in the Turkish Society of Gastroenterology and serves as the Regional Representative for Turkey within the Transplant Fellowship Network Collaborative Group.
Dr. Moral has authored and co-authored numerous peer-reviewed publications in the fields of liver pathology, rare liver diseases, and liver transplantation. He is currently leading an international survey focusing on transplant education and training
