Lauren Matevish, MD, is a General Surgery resident at Parkland/UT Southwestern in Dallas, TX. She received her undergraduate degree from the University of Pittsburgh and her medical degree from Vanderbilt University School of Medicine. She is currently finishing a clinical research fellowship with the Division of Surgical Transplantation, with a focus on health services research to address the supply-demand imbalance in transplantation. During this time, she also completed a Certificate in Clinical Science through the UT Southwestern School of Health Professions. Following residency, she plans to pursue fellowship training in Abdominal Transplant Surgery.
