After graduating from Hacettepe University School of Medicine in 2001, he completed residency in Internal Medicine and fellowship in Gastroenterology, at Ankara University School of Medicine. Among his recognitions, he had EASL Young investigator award 4 times. Since 2015, he works in Ankara Guven Hospital as the chief of Gastroenterology. He works as a Transplant Hepatologist in the Liver Transplant program of Guven Hospital. In 2021 he has taken the degree of Professor of Medicine at Yuksek Ihtisas University School of Medicine.
He is the chair of Membership and Communications Committee of International Liver Transplantation Society – ILTS.
