Dr. Manhal Izzy is a Professor of Medicine at Vanderbilt University, Nashville, TN, USA. He serves as the director of the Transplant Hepatology fellowship program and the director of Hepatology research. His research investigates the cardiometabolic disorders in patients with chronic liver disease and liver transplant recipients with a special focus on Cirrhotic Cardiomyopathy. Dr. Izzy's research has received funding from the NIH. He has published over 100 peer reviewed articles and book chapters. He currently serves as associate editor for Liver Transplantation.
