Dr. Julie Heimbach is a professor of surgery and the Director of the William Von Liebig Center for transplantation at Mayo Clinic in Rochester MN. She is an abdominal transplant surgeon who has focused on living donor liver transplantation, liver transplantation for malignancies, and issues of obesity and transplantation. Dr Heimbach currently serves as the Treasurer of the American Society of Transplant Surgeons.
