Koji Hashimoto, MD, PhD, is Director of Liver Transplantation at Cleveland Clinic Main Campus and Professor of Surgery at Cleveland Clinic Lerner College of Medicine of Case Western Reserve University. His clinical and academic interests include living donor liver transplantation, pediatric liver transplantation, transplantation using partial grafts, liver malignancies, organ preservation, and transplant immunology. He is an ASTS–certified abdominal transplant surgeon.

Dr. Hashimoto has contributed extensively to both basic and clinical research, authoring more than 200 peer-reviewed publications. He is an active member of several national and international societies, including ILTS, ASTS, TTS, IHPBA, AASLD, and SPLIT. Currently, he serves as the Chair of the ILTS Pediatric Committee.
