Dr. Adeyi is a professor and divisional director of anatomic pathology at the University of
Alabama, Birmingham (UAB) and the UAB Health Services Foundation. He has more than 20
years’ subspecialty expertise experience in medical, oncologic, and transplant liver pathology
and is internationally recognized as a leader in this area. He has been an active member of
several top professional societies and has co-authored published guidelines in liver transplant
diagnoses and assessments over the last 20 years. He is a well-respected educator, having
taught and mentored many residents and fellows over the years. He receives second opinion
requests from institutions in the US, Canada and overseas. His more than 100 peer-reviewed
manuscripts in high impact journals and book chapters in pathology and radiology volumes are
highly cited.
